Happy Thanksgiving to the World Shorebirds Day Family

This time of the year, emotions are running higher, there are more smiles and cuddles, probably more plans are being pencilled. It's Thanksgiving Day, and while it is celebrated only in the United States, I think it is an excellent opportunity to express our gratitude to all World Shorebirds Day supporters and the participants of the Global Shorebird Counts. Without you all, this awareness program and educational initiative would not be possible. Thank you so much for being in the field for shorebirds, counting as a citizen scientist and for donating to this important segment of shorebird conservation.

Happy Thanksgiving to All!
