World Shorebirds Day logo

The attractive breeding plumaged Ruddy Turnstone represents all the Arctic shorebirds migrating to distant shores and wetlands of all the continents. The global presence of endangered Artic shorebirds is in line with the events, like the popular Global Shorebird Counting Program of World Shorebirds Day, organised by hundreds of individuals or small groups in every corner of the world.

At this point I don’t think the logo is the final one. There might be some changes once we find a creative designer who can redesign it in the near future, but the concept will stay the same. Might it be worth to set up a design contest?
